if mulder is to be considered determined, then one would have to say dana scully is tenacious.
she not only discovers reasons behind mulder's beliefs and theories, but she supports them with facts whenever the opportunity arises.
she was not always a believer...until...and even now she approaches all cases with some reserve.  but one thing for sure, she will be there to help whenever she can, and however.
