Since I'm new at spreading news about the X-Files, I only have a minimum amount of news. Hopefully once more information comes to the surface about the 7th season; I'll be able to update it more often.

September 1, 1999: According to the latest issue of TV Guide entitled "Returning Favorites" Sept. 4-10 has a little blurb about the X-Files and this coming season. The season premiere is going to be November 7th! I don't know about you, but that's a long time to wait?.Anyway here's what the article says:

"While executive producer Chris Carter say it's not definite that is the series' last season-his contract and that of David Duchovny are due to expire, but the network is reportedly interested in another year-he adds, "We want to concentrate on the mythology as it heads to a conclusion." Expect more on Mulder's search for his sister, his relationship with Scully and his attempt to expose the government's cover-up of the aliens.

The two-part opener (which airs Nov. 7th) takes up where spring's cliff-hanger left off, with Mulder in a padded cell after being infected by an alien substance. Carter also promises "interesting twists" involving Krycek, Skinner, and Agent Fowley. Look for the Well-Manicured Man (John Neville) despite his apparent demise in "The X-Files" movie.
