INTRODUCTION At 20 episodes long, "Treasure Raiders 2002" or better known as "Siu Sup Yat Long", is Felix's latest TVB series. This story is based on Gu Long's original novel. Felix Wong stars as the hero Siu Sap Yat Long. Maggie Siu, plays the role of Fung Sie Leung, Siu Sap Yat Long's friend. Annie Heung plays the wife of young hero Lin Sing Bik, Sum Bik Kwan who also loves Siu Sap Yat Long. Hugo Ng makes his return to TVB and takes on the role of the evil Siu Yiu Hau. Tsang Wai Kin plays the role of a true gentleman, Yeung Hoi Tai, who is also one of the renowned "6 Young Gentlemen Heroes". Finally Kwok Yiu Ming plays the young hero Lin Sing Bik and husband of Sum Bik Kwan. There was an 80's version of "Treasure Raiders" produced by TVB starring Patrick Tse Ying as Siu Sap Yat Long. But once again I don't recall to have seen it so I won't make any comments on that series. It is a story about a feared and hated swordsman who is the guardian of Chor Lau Heung's treasure. At a young age Siu Sap Yat Long was instructed with the task of keeping Chor Lau Heung's treasure secret for 60 years when he can pass the information onto the relatives of Chor Lau Heung. Siu Sap Yat Long is a lonely wanderer with an infamous name. He loves to drink and is the top swordsman in the world. Like most of GU Long's stories this one also has its many twists and turns. There is plenty of plotting and mysteries to solve. Combined with a difficult love triangle. Siu Sap Yat Long actually falls in love with a married woman and his friend Fung Sie Leung is madly in love with him. So which one will win out in the end? SERIES REVIEW There are a number of mysterious murders linked to Siu Sap Yat Long where entire families are killed. These murders have gotten out of control that the Emperor has sent his top four investigators led by Chi Kwok Sin Sang to capture Siu Sap Yat Long. One evening they got together to devise a plan to catch him. They were aware that Siu Sap Yat Long being a handy thief might attempt to steal the To Long Do which was rumored to be linked to the secret of Chor Lau Heung's treasure. The sword was currently being escorted to Sum Ka Bo. Fung Sie Leung is given the authority over the case as she was the only one in the kung fu world who has actually seen Siu Sap Yat Long and knows what he looks like. One evening Yeung Hoi Tai, one of the renowned "Six Young Gentleman Heroes", is making his way to visit Sum kA Bo's for Old Lady Sum's 60th birthday celebration. He enters a hotel carrying a box which contained a present for Old Lady Sum. As he was speaking with the manager about his lodging arrangements overnight, a group of thieves at a near by table look closely at the box he was carrying. The hotel is overcrowded with mountain robbers all eager to steal the To Long Do. Thus they suspected that Yeung Hoi Tai was carrying the To Long Do and planned to deal with him later. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung was having a bath in her room when she noticed two of the thieves were spying on her. She then invited one of them in for a closer look. As they entered the room she used a dart which pierced the thieves left eye. As the thief was struggling in pain Fung Sie Leung flew out of her room covering herself with only a cloth to deal with the rest of the group sitting outside. As she was fighting with the men, Yeung Hoi Tai, dropped the box he was carrying. Yeung Hoi Tai was instantly taken by the beauty of Fung Sie Leung, and momentarily lost his own composure. Upon realising what he had done, he quickly picked up the box and recovered it with a cloth. This act quickly attracted everyone's interest in the room. Later in the evening Fung Sie Leung decides to befriend Yeung Hoi Tai who was sitting alone by himself peacefully eating a bowl of noodles. At first Fung Sie Leung wanted to invite Yeung Hoi Tai to her room for a drink. Yeung Hoi Tai warmed to this idea and was about to get up and accept the offer. However he was a true gentleman and wanted to uphold his own and Fung Sie Leung's reputation so he declined the offer. Fung Sie Leung then decided to join Yeung Hoi Tai outside where everyone else was sitting, eating and listening in eagerly into their conversation. Fung Sie Leung then offered Yeung Hoi Tai a drink. At first he refused as he did not normally drink, but he later accepted stating that he could not refuse a drink from such a wonderful lady. It was then Fung Sie Leung noticed that Yeung Hoi Tai was not an overly experienced person in the kung fu world and not the smartest person either. So she was obliged to warn Yeung Hoi Tai about the mountain robbers as she too thought he was carrying the To Long Do in the box. As they were talking the mountain robbers surrounded them as they had poisoned their drinks. The mountain robber's plans however were foiled as Fung Sie Leung could detect the poison and spits it back out. At once she dealt with and fought with the group of men. Yeung Hoi Tai joined in to help her shortly after spitting the poison back out himself. He uses his Shaolin kung fu and defeats all the men. During the fight box containing the present Yeung Hoi Tai was carrying was broken, and it dropped out in full view of everyone of the room. It was then everyone realised that Yeung Hoi Tai wasn't carrying the To Long Do at all. Upon this discovery the mountain robbers retreated empty handed. Fung Sie Leung then thanked Yeung Hoi Tau for his assistance during the fight. In response Yeung Hoi Tai mentioned it was nothing, and that it was his duty to help. Shortly after another man arrives carrying an item which the robbers think is the To Long Sword. One of the robbers called Mu Tin Wan steals the box and Fung Sie Leung gives chase. They battle and Fung Sie Leung is captured by dirty tactics. Mu Tin Wan had planted an ambush for her and she was caught off guard. Just as Mu Tin Wan as about to set his men loose on her, Siu Sap Yat Long arrives. Immediately he kills many of Mu Tin Wan's men and knocks Mu Tin Wan out, and takes Fung Sie Leung away to safety. As Fung Sie Leung began to wake up she could hear the sound of music played between two leaves. This she remembered was Siu Sap Yat Long. Though drowsy, Fung Sie Leung, remembers how she first met Siu Sap Long. One night she attempted to steal the treasure from a corrupt official. When she entered the room she noticed another masked man attempting to steal the treasure also. Upon being discovered Fung Sie Leung attempted to ensure that she would be the first one to steal the treasure so she pulled a lever close by. As she did this many spears came through from the wall. Siu Sap Yat Long who was the other masked man immediately came to the rescue and pushed her out of harms way. The spear struck Siu Sap Yat Long on the right arm and gave him a flesh wound. After that event Fung Sie Leung and Siu Sap Yat Long became friends, so the music she could hear as she was laying down dazed was comforting to her. Upon remember this act Fung Sie Leung finally woke up. Siu Sap Yat Long smiled and told her to relax as the poisoned was still in her system. Fung Sie Leung then informs Siu Sap Yat Long that she is no longer a theft now, and has become an Inspector sent to capture him. Upon hearing this information Siu Sap Yat Long laughed. He then informed Fung Sie Leung that he already knew her motives of capturing him. He then informs Fung Sie Leung that he had been sleeping on her roof top for the last 13 nights to keep a close eye on her movements and at the same time protect her. He also mentioned that he had been following the events of the mysterious murders closely. Siu Sap Yat Long then informs Fung Sie Leung that he is innocent and seeks Fung Sie Leung's assistance to help uncover the identity of the people trying to frame him. At first Fung Sie Leung was a bit taken back that a thief would ask an Inspector for help. But deeply inside Fung Sie Leung loved and believed him so she agreed to help. Upon hearing this Siu Sap Yat Long laughs once more and leaves. Fung Sie Leung tried to stop him from leaving, but could not and fainted. Siu Sap Yat Long had drugged her earlier so that he could escape. In the morning Fung Sie Leung leaves so she could track the delivery of the To Long Do to Sum kA Bo's house. Unknown to Fung Sie Leung, Siu Sap Yat Long had been following her closely after that night. When Fung Sie Leung takes up accommodation at a hotel she is stunned when she enters her room and Siu Sap Yat Long is leaning by the window with a drink in his hand. Upon seeing Fung Sie Leung, Siu Sap Yat Long, had a bright smile on his face. But before she could say or do anything Siu Sap Yat Long pushed her pressure points so she could not move. He then proceeds to rest her on the bed and proceeds to inform her of his plans to borrow the sword for a look. Fung Sie Leung then informs Siu Sap Yat Long that the sword will not be easy to steal as it is guarded by four powerful warriors. Siu Sap Yat Long laughs and leaves the room making his preparations to steal the sword. In the evening the four men, Master Sie Hung, Master Jiu, Master Fung, and Master Ma pass by the same hotel that Siu Sap Yat Long was staying at. The men are greeted by a man from the hotel who invited them to dinner. They were suspicious at first and had reason to be as four coffins were delivered to them shortly afterwards with a message from Siu Sap Yat Long. The message informs the men that Siu Sap Yat Long would be coming at dawn to steal the sword. At once Master Jiu tells the other men that it is a trick and that they should go and seek out Siu Sap Yat Long before he arrives and catch him off-guard. They all agree that it was best. So Master Ma, Master Jiu, and Master Fung goes after Siu Sap Yat Long leaving Master Sie Hung behind to guard the sword. At dawn Siu Sap Yat Long does arrive and politely asks Master Sie Hung to lend him the sword for a look out of curiosity. But Master Sie Hung refused to lend it. So they battled, but Master Sie Hung's kung fu was no match for that of Siu Sap Yat Long who managed to steal the sword. At that moment Fung Sie Leung deliberately lights a fire in her hotel room to distract Siu Sap Yat Long. Her plan succeeded and Master Sie Hung was able to take advantage when Siu Sap Yat Long lost a moment of concentration to steal the sword back and leave instantly. Siu Sap Yat Long then proceeded to save Fung Sie Leung. Upon escaping Master Sie Hung goes to the brothel to find the others. When he finally found them, Master Jiu, Mater Ma and Master Fung were drinking and having a good time. At once Master Sie Hung is not impressed, especially after having lost the battle against Siu Sap Yat Long. Master Jiu then stood up and told Master Sie Hung that he had fallen into their trap. He was then told that the sword in his hand was fake and that he would be murdered for knowing all of this information. Finally Master Jiu informed Master Sie Heung that the blame will be put on Siu Sap Yat Long for both his murder and for the thief of the sword. Upon hearing this Master Sie Hung battles with the men to save himself but h was caught off guard when a young girl dressed as a man, Siu Kung Chi, enters stabs him in the back with the To Long Do. Siu Kung Chi then instructs the remaining three men to take the body to Sum kA Bo's house and frame Siu Sap Yat Long for everything. After being rescued Fung Sie Leung informs Siu Sap Yat Long that she deliberately lighted the fire. Siu Sap Yat Long laughs and informed her that he already knew. He mentioned that no Inspector would allow a thief to succeed in stealing the To Long Do. It was Fung Sie Leung's turn to laugh after that as she questioned why he would still save her if he knew of her motives. Siu Sap Yat Long then continued that by doing so he had proved that he was not a cold hearted killer capable of committing mass murders without thought. Also that by lighting the fire Fung Sie Leung had demonstrated that she believes he was innocent. However regardless of everything that had happened so far Siu Sap Yat Long stated that he was still determined to borrow the sword. Upon hearing this Fung Sie Leung sighed as the headed off together towards Sum kA Bo's house. In town they run into Yeung Hoi Tai who was in the process of making his way to Sum kA Bo alone. Upon seeing Fung Sie Leung, Yeung Hoi Tai, waved to them and ran up hurriedly to greet her. Yeung Hoi Tai then invited them to lunch which they accepted. Of course Siu Sap Yat Long had recognised that Yeung Hoi Tai was the son of a rich accountant so he decided to order the most expensive meals at the restaurant. When the waiter brought the meals out to the Yeung Hoi Tai's faced nearly turned white. After over coming his surprise, Yeung Hoi Tai turned to Fung Sie Leung and asked her whom her friend was who ordered the meals. In response Siu Sap Yat Long introduced himself as Inspector Fung, a minor investigator who had ambitions of capturing Siu Sap Yat Long. Upon hearing these words Fung Sie Leung nearly choked on her tea. She then turned to Siu Sap Yat Long in an amazement. Yeung Hoi Tai then interrupted them by asking Fung Sie Leung whether she was friends with Siu Sap Yat Long or not. Yeung Hoi Tai had previously heard rumours from Chi Kwok Sin Sang that Fung Sie Leung was once inlove with and a good friend of Siu Sap Yat Long so he wanted to know the truth because he loved her. Fung Sie Leung replied that she did not know of such an arsehole as Siu Sap Yat Long as was definitely not his friend, darting an angry look at Siu Sap Yat Long in the process. Siu Sap Yat Long then replied that it was not true. He continued that infact he had heard rumours that Fung Sie Leung was quite close to Siu Sap Yat Long, and was the only one in the kung fu world who truly could relate to and understand him. Fung Sie Leung then took one glare at Siu Sap Yat Long again, and said yeah she totally understood what an arsehole and lowlife scum Siu Sap Yat Long was. Upon hearing this Siu Sap Yat Long could not help but let out a little laugh. Yeung Hoi Tai then became pleased thinking that Fung Sie Leung did not hold high respects or have feelings for Siu Sap Yat Long after all. Siu Sap Yat Long then changed the conversation by asking Yeung Hoi Tai whether it was okay for them to visit Sum kA Bo's house as his guest. Yeung Hoi Tai immediately responded by saying okay as he looked over at Fung Sie Leung. Siu Sap Yat Long then asked Yeung Hoi Tai about the other "Six Gentlemen Heroes" as he wanted to know which one would be given the task as the guardian of the To Long Do by Old Lady Sum. Yeung Tai Hoi tells Siu Sap Yat Long firstly about Lai Kong, who's top kung fu was the Iron Fist, but his hot temper would rule him out from being given the task of guarding the sword. Next he mentioned Tu Ching Hung, who was a disciple from Mo Dong. However he had become a General and had no time to interfere in the matters of the kung fu world. Another of the young heroes was Chu Bak Siu, who was a disciple of both Ngor Mei and Hung Dong. Unfortunately he had become a monk so that too would rule him out. Just at that moment Lau Sik Ching was entering the restaurant. He had a smile on his face upon seeing Yeung Hoi Tai and was about to greet him. Siu Sap Yat Long looked over and saw Lau Sik Ching. Knowing that Yeung Hoi Tai had his back turned and did not see him, Siu Sap Yat Long immediately asked him about his thoughts on Lau Sik Ching. Yeung Hoi Tai paused for a moment to gather his thoughts as he did not really hold Lau Sik Ching in high praise. After collecting his thoughts Yeung Hoi Tai mentioned that Lau Sik Ching was a good swordsman who had learnt the 72 Sword Stance kung fu. However his personality was not that befitting the title of "gentlemen" as he is often rash, hot tempered and upsets people with his harsh and rude comments. Yeung Hoi Tai even went as far as to say that Lau Sik Ching was therefore not capable of being guardian of the sword. Upon hearing this Lau Sik Ching immediately hissed and cursed at Yeung Hoi Tai before leaving abruptly. Yeung Hoi Tai was shocked that he had been caught off guard and made a move to apologise. By then Lau Sik Ching had already disappeared. Upon sitting back down Yeung Hoi Tai then continued to inform Siu Sap Yat Long about the last of the young heroes, Lin Sing Bik. According to Yeung Hoi Tai, Lin Sing Bik would be the true guardian of the sword as he's kung fu skills are excellent and that he is a true gentleman. Yeung Hoi Tai highly respects Ling Sing Bik and is one of his true friends. After lunch they all journey to Sum kA Bo's house. When they arrived all the other "Six Gentlemen Heroes" were already at the house. They then poked fun at Yeung Hoi Tai who was so late in arriving. Yeung Hoi Tai then introduced Fung Sie Leung and Siu Sap Yat Long (posing as Inspector Fung) to his friends. Angered by Yeung Hoi Tai's comments earlier, Lau Sik Ching then starts a fight and duels with Lai Kong. They are the two men with the most hot tempers out of the "Six Gentlemen Heroes". As the fight to a standstill Siu Sap Yat Long sits back and observes the men's kung fu. Suddenly Lin Sing Bik arrives from no where to break up the fight, followed closely behind by Old Lady Sum. At once Old Lady Sum attempts to part some of her wisdom to the young heroes. She first tells Lau Sik Ching that his sword skills are excellent but that when he strikes his moves are too cold blooded. She then tells Lai Kong that he is too hot tempered and needs to relax. As they're talking Master Jiu, Master Ma, and Master Fung arrive carrying Master Sie Hung's body. At once the immediately blames Siu Sap Yat Long for the murder. This brings a raised eyebrow from everyone in the room including Siu Sap Yat Long and Fung Sie Leung who were in attendance. Lau Wing Lam and Pang Pang Fei who were guests of Old Lady Sum then tried to rally everyone to kill Siu Sap Yat Long to avenge Master Sie Hung's death. Upon hearing these rash words Fung Sie Leung had enough and could no longer contain her anger at the men. She immediately approaches the dead body and examines it carefully. She discovers several strikes and blows, indicating that more then one man was involved in the murder. She also notice that Master Sie Hung died because he was struck from behind. With this in mind, Fung Sie Leung then turned to the everyone in the living room and points out that Master Sie Hung had struck from behind and thus caught off guard before he died. She then built upon this and proceeded to point out that with Siu Sap Yat Long's high level of kung fu he would not need to resort to such a cowardly act. The men were a bit angered and did not agree with Fung Sie Leung's point of view of this matter however. Old Lady Sum was closely observing the so called Inspector Fung and then asked for his thoughts. Old Lady Sum did not like the look of Inspector Fung, as he did not look so rough and rugged and not at all like an Inspector. Siu Sap Yat Long was a little amazed at first and was caught off his guard as he though his excellent wit had concealed his real identity from everyone in the room. After recovering his thoughts Siu Sap Yat Long stepped forward to state that Siu Sap Yat Long was well renowned for being a cold blooded murderer with the lowest ethical standards known to all mankind. Upon hearing this Fung Sie Leung nearly froze she then casted an angry look at Siu Sap Yat Long and was about to tell him off. But Siu Sap Yat Long brushed her aside and continued putting an argument opposite to that of Fung Sie Leung. He then stated that because of his unethical ways Siu Sap Yat Long might have hired help and thus caught Master Sie Hung off guard and murdered him from behind. At hearing these comments the men in the room were pleased and Old Lady Sum no longer doubted that Siu Sap Yat Long was an Inspector. Fung Sie Leung resorted to standing in the middle of the room with her arms crossed looking angrily at Siu Sap Yat Long. Lin Sing Bik noticed this tension and having both sides of the argument he stepped forward and told everyone not to make any rash judgments until evidence was found to link Siu Sap Yat Long to the murder. Fung Sie Leung agreed and stated that she would return to the crime scene to investigate and sough there help as well. Lin Sing Bik was the first to offer to help Fung Sie Leung to uncover the truth. So the matter was settled. No one would make a move until they returned from the crime scene. In the evening Siu Sap Yat Long decides to wander around the Sum kA Bo household. He said to Fung Sie Leung that he was going out to look for food and wine so he could get drunk. But his true motives was to do some investigating, as he suspected it was someone who was close to Master Sie Hung who had committed the murder. In the process he stumbles upon a table prepared with food, drink and a game of chess. It was Sum Bik Kwan's back garden. The wine on the table smelt so good that Siu Sap Yat Long could not resist but to venture over and take a drink. He then marveled at the quality of the wine and notice the chess puzzle. So he picked up a black chess piece and placed it on the table. As he was doing so he was discovered by a servant who rudely told him off. But from the inside of her room Sum Bik Kwan, told the servant not to be so disrespectful of her guests. Upon discovering what Siu Sap Yat Long had done, Sum Bik Kwan challenged him to complete the chess game. From her room Sum Bik Kwan instructed her servant to place the chess pieces on the board as she competed with Siu Sap Yat Long. Siu Sap Yat Long eventually wins the game. Inside Sum Bik Kwan lets out a sigh as she had played many times with her husband Lin Sing Bik who could not solve the game and win. Siu Sap Yat Long then informs Sum Bik Kwan that he could solve the chess game as he takes actions bravely with no thought for the consequences. He also told her that he was a free man without any constraints unlike her husband Lin Sing Bik. As they were talking Old Lady Sum walks pass. Immediately she was not impressed with Siu Sap Yat Long and tells him to leave before proceeding to speak with her daughter Sum Bik Kwan. Old Lady Sum was worried for the safety of her daughter as she is married to a hero and warns her that in the future she should not trust people. In the evening the "Six Gentlemen Heroes" meet to discuss avenging the death of Master Sie Hung and at the same time uncover the truth. However as they talk an argument begins due to the hot tempers of Lau Sik Ching and Lai Kong. Lin Sing Bik was deeply angered as he feels that his friends does not respect his abilities and his leadership. Lin Sing Bik has always harbored ambitions of becoming the leader of all the kung fu schools and begins practicing kung fu. Sum Bik Kwan walks pass and shes her husband was troubled. So she wandered over to find out what was wrong and they start talking. Lin Sing Bik then takes a seat at the table and comes across the chess game which was solved by Siu Sap Yat Long earlier. He looks at the solved puzzle and sighs. He then proceeds to inform Sum Bik Kwan that he could not solve the problem all this time because he has many burdens and that his will is not his own. Under all these sorts of pressures he had to plan his moves carefully and think of the consequences before taking action. Therefore he could not see the solution because the way the game was played he had to play safe unlike the man whom solved the puzzle who could take dangerous paths to find a solution. After being told off by Old Lady Sum, Siu Sap Yat Long, did not immediately return to his room. Instead he goes to examine the body of Master Sie Hung and discover some clues. Meanwhile Yeung Hoi Tai makes a late night visit to Fung Sie Leung whom he had fallen inlove with. Yeung Hoi Tai informs Fung Sie Leung that he would follow her and Lin Sing Bik to the crime scene to uncover the truth and at the same time protect her. Fung Sie Leung then thanked him for his gesture of kindness. Yeung Hoi Tai then asked Fung Sie Leung once more about Siu Sap Yat Long. As they are talking Siu Sap Yat Long returns. Upon hearing what Yeung Hoi Tai had asked he approved and stated that he too wanted to hear Fung Sie Leung's thoughts about Siu Sap Yat Long. Fung Sie Leung stated once more that Siu Sap Yat Long was a bold and arrogant man who does not fear being captured. Upon hearing this Yeung Hoi Tai question Fung Sie Leung whether Siu Sap Yat Long's kung fu was really that good that he could defeat everyone in the kung fu world and therefore does not fear being captured. Fung Sie Leung replied by flatly rejecting that argument. Siu Sap Yat Long then remarked, in that case he must be an intelligent man who is able to avoid everyone and thus no one could discover his where abouts and thus no one can capture him. Fung Sie Leung then looked across at Siu Sap Yat Long and stated that he wished that were true. Fung Sie Leung then remarked that Siu Sap Yat Long was a total arsehold who she no longer wanted to be friends with or associated to at all. At this point Yeung Hoi Tai looks at both of them not knowing where the conversation was heading. It was then Siu Sap Yat Long noticed that Yeung Hoi Tai likes Fung Sie Leung. So he finally ended the conversation by wishing Fung Sie Leung luck in capturing the devious Siu Sap Yat Long. Once again Fung Sie Leung was not impressed and slammed her fist on the table. In the morning Siu Sap Yat Long runs into Master Jiu who was preparing to leave. Siu Sap Yat Long suddenly suspected Master Jiu for Master Sie Hung's murders as he was acting really dodgy. So he decided tested Master Jiu with some words and closely observed his facial expressions. At once Siu Sap Yat Long knew he was right when Master Jiu made and excuse to leave quickly. Meanwhile Lin Sing Bik, Yeung Hoi Tai and Fung Sie Leung piece together the events on the night of the murder. They go from place to place to retrace the steps without much luck. In the evening Siu Sap Yat Long follows Master Jiu, who went to visit Siu Kung Chi. Upon discovering that Ling Sing Bik had left Sum Bik Kwan alone, Siu Kung Chi, plotted to capture her. Siu Sap Yat Long then followed Siu Kung Chi to a temple where Sum Bik Kwan was praying for the safety of her husband. Siu Kung Chi attempted to capture Sum Bik Kwan but her kung fu was not match. Sum Bik Kwan proved that she was not just a mere beautiful girl to be admired and looked upon as she fought Siu Kung Chi off with her needles. Siu Kung Chi was caught off guard and resorted to dirty tactics and managed to catch Sum Bik Kwan by surprise. Upon succeeding in capturing Sum Bik Kwan, Siu Kung Chi then took her back to the boat. Siu Sap Yat Long had followed the events closely and tracked Siu Kung Chi back to the boat. He then entered and rescued Sum Bik Kwan from Siu Kung Chi's clutches. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung uncovers evidence that no battle took place on the streets where the body of Master Sie Hung was found. An elderly noodle shop manager had opened a stand every single night and had seen no such battle take place and therefore no murder. This would be enough evidence to clear Siu Sap Yat Long of the crime. Unfortunately no one heard the news from the elderly noodle shop manager except for her. So both Lin Sing Bik and Yeung Hoi Tai could not take her word for it. But the time they went back to the noodle shop the manager had been murdered. Upon this discovery they ventured to the brothel to uncover more clues. However by the time they arrived everyone had been killed off. A masked man tried to attack then at the brothel but Lin Sing Bik managed to save them and inflicted the masked man with a flesh wound to the right hand. After that event they decided to head back to Sum kA Bo disappointed at having found no clues. Meanwhile Siu Sap Yat Long was in the process of taking Sum Bik Kwan back to Sum kA Bo when Pang Pang Fei and Lau Wing Lam arrived to take her. Siu Sap Yat Long was cautious with letting her go with the two men who were acting dodgey. But Sum Bik Kwan thought the two men were her husbands friends and so followed them despite Siu Sap Yat Long's advice. Unknown to Sum Bik Kwan these men were infact evil and, she was poisoned along the way without knowing. She was then nearly rapped by Lau Wing Lam who had killed Pang Pang Fei during the journey. Lau Wing Lam nearly succeeded until Siu Sap Yat Long arrived to rescue her from his and Siu Kung Chi's clutches. Upon rescuing Sum Bik Kwan, Siu Sap Yat Long discovered that she had been poisoned. At once he set out to find a cure by poisoning himself, without letting Sum Bik Kwan know. Siu Sap Yat Long then tested various methods of cure on himself without much success. As each day went by he became more affected by the poisoned. In order to find a cure Siu Sap Yat Long had lodged at a hotel close to a group of mountain robbers. One day they saw that Siu Sap Yat Long had carried a lot of money with him. So the robbers decided to capture Sum Bik Kwan to force Siu Sap Yat Long to hand over all of his money over to them. Siu Sap Yat Long would not be captured however as he easily defeated the group of young mountain robbers. However because he was poisoned and needed to cure Sum Bik Kwan, he thought of a clever plan to remain at the mountain. Siu Sap Yat Long knew the mountain robbers hideout was the safest place to stay as no one could be looking for them there. So the mountain robbers agreed to help Siu Sap Yat Long with buying the medicine he needed to cure Sum Bik Kwan's poison. In return Siu Sap Yat Long promised the young mountain robber leader Siu Sap Yee Long that he would provide him with opportunity to win all of the money Siu Sap Yat Long had carried. This pleased Siu Sap Yee Long very much and he accepted the offer. Later Siu Sap Yat Long informs Sum Bik Kwan of his plans and reassured her that staying at the mountain robber's hideout was the safest thing they could do until she was cured. In the evening Sum Bik Kwan's poisoned struck and Siu Sap Yat Long was required to use his inner strength to help her delay the effects of the poisoned. Because of this Siu Sap Yat Long had placed his life in danger and could not contest the battles with the young mountain robber, Siu Sap Yee Long, so he pretended to be drunk whenever it was time for a battle. Because of this Sum Bik Kwan suspected something was wrong and discovered that in order to save her Siu Sap Yat Long had actually poisoned himself. Upon this discovery she began to grow in respect for him after that event. When questioned why he had poisoned himself, Siu Sap Yat Long, replied that he could not bring himself to watch her die. A few days later Siu Sap Yat Long finally found what he thought was the cure for Sum Bik Kwan, but yet his own poison was not yet cured because he was injured. So one day Sum Bik Kwan replaced Siu Sap Yat Long and challenged the young mountain robber, Siu Sap Yee Long, to a contest and won. Having won they were allowed to remain at the mountain. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung, Lin Sing Bik, and Yeung Hoi Tai returned to Sum kA Bo. Upon returning Fung Sie Leung, began questioning Master Ma and Master Fung whom she thought had ambush them at the brothel. Master Fung had anticipated this move and burnt his arm where Lin Sing Bik had injured him. So no one believe Fung Sie Leung when Master Ma revealed his scars. Without any evidence linking them to the crime Master Ma and Master Fung where then allowed to leave. As they were leaving news arrived that Sum Bik Kwan had been captured by Siu Sap Yat Long. At once Old Lady Sum and Lin Sing Bik were very angry and crossed, cursing out Siu Sap Yat Long's name aloud. But Fung Sie Leung did not believe the news. Later in the evening Chi Kwok Sin Sang, the other two inspectors and Fung Sie Leung discussed the murder of Master Sie Hung and planned their next move to capture the murderer. Chi Kwok Sin Sang was certain that Master Sie Hung was killed by four people. Amongst the suspects were indeed Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung. Chi Kwok Sin Sang then informed Fung Sie Leung that he had deliberately let Master Ma and Master Fung go to uncover the identity of the fourth person involved in the murder, whom he suspect was the mastermind. Fung Sie Leung was happy enough with Chi Kwok Sin Sang's plans that she decided to leave them and began a journey to locate Siu Sap Yat Long and track down the disappearance of Sum Bik Kwan. Lin Sing Bik, eager to locate both Siu Sap Yat Long and his wife had followed Fung Sie Leung. Upon discovering this Fung Sie Leung tried to evade Lin Sing Bik without much success. Fung Sie Leung even took Lin Sing Bik to a brothel to evade him. But Lin Sing Bik was always one step ahead of her. Finally Fung Sie Leung was able to evade Lin Sing Bik, with the help of an old friend Fai Ping, the leader of the 13 Black Mountain Robber Clan. They put on a show and fought with each other. During the battle Fung Sie Leung fell of the edge of a cliff, which was all part of the plan to escape from Lin Sing Bik's tracking. Fai Ping loved Fung Sie Leung and upon helping her asked for hand in marriage, but Fung Sie Leung stated that they were friends and that they should remain that way. Upon escaping from Lin Sing Bik, Fung Sie Leung continued on her way to track down Siu Sap Yat Long. Later the group of young mountain robbers discovered that Siu Sap Yat Long was injured, so they plotted to murder him. The young leader, Siu Sap Yee Long, refused to be involved but his men revolted against him and elected a new leader. Siu Sap Yat Long suspected that soon or later the mountain robbers would find out he was injured so he was prepared for their trap. But despite his superior kung fu he could not prevent them from capturing Sum Bik Kwan. So he was forced to surrender. As they were about to be killed, the former leader Siu Sap Yee Long stepped in the mountain robber's way and blocked the strike. In a desperate attempt to escape, Siu Sap Yat Long taught Siu Sap Yee Long three kung fu moves which allowed him to fight through all of them. Upon winning Siu Sap Yee Long freed Sum Bik Kwan and Siu Sap Yat Long, and they left the mountain. Before they departed Siu Sap Yat Long made Siu Sap Yee Long promise not to return to the mountain to become a robber. Siu Sap Yee Long reluctantly agreed to Siu Sap Yat Long's demands and left in a hurry. Knowing that Siu Sap Yee Long was safe, Siu Sap Yat Long then continued to escort Sum Bik Kwan back to Sum kA Bo. When they arrived back at the house, Siu Sap Yat Long, notice a number of odd things. Sum Bik Kwan's four brothers were acting suspiciously. The house was filled with a bad odor, the servants looked very rough and Old Lady Sum was not there to greet Sum Bik Kwan. Siu Sap Yat Long was going to leave immediately upon escorting Sum Bik Kwan back to the house but upon discovering these strange things, he decided to remain behind to protect her. In the evening he went to investigate and discovered a number of dead bodies laying out the back of the house. Upon this discovery he attempted to warn Sum Bik Kwan, but her four brothers whom were working for Siu Kung Chi ambushed and attacked him. Siu Sap Yat Long was forced to defend himself and fought with the men. From her room Sum Bik Kwan awoke to the sounds of clashing swords and cries of death. She run out in time to witness all her four brothers being killed by Siu Sap Yat Long. She ran into Old Lady Sum's room to crie for help but discovered that she was dead. Master Jiu then arrived accusing Siu Sap Yat Long of being a cold blooded murderer. Master Jiu then revealed to Sum Bik Kwan that whom she thought was Inspector Fung was actually the notorious Siu Sap Yat Long. Before that Sum Bik Kwan had always thought that Siu Sap Yat Long was an Inspector like Fung Sie Leung. Upon discovering that she had been deceived and grieved by the death of Old Lady Sum and witnessing the death of her brothers, Sum Bik Kwan, vowed to kill Siu Sap Yat Long to avenge there deaths. Despite hearing this Siu Sap Yat Long, pushed her pressure points and rescued her from Siu Kung Chi, Master Ma, Master Fung, Master Jiu and all of the men pursuing them. Once Siu Sap Yat Long escaped Sum kA Bo was burnt to the ground with the blame put on Siu Sap Yat Long. Upon escaping Siu Sap Yat Long attempted to explain what had happened to Sum Bik Kwan, but she did not believe him. Still Siu Sap Yat Long conveyed Sum Bik Kwan to a safer place. He was waiting for Fung Sie Leung to find them, and at the same time he wanted to avoid everyone else. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung ran into Siu Sap Yee Long, who was on the streets using Siu Sap Yat Long's sword fighting style to make some money. Fung Sie Leung then approached him to try and find news of Siu Sap Yat Long's location but he escaped without telling her. After that event Fung Sie Leung was informed of the news that Siu Sap Yat Long had killed 16 lives of the Sum kA Bo's house. Master Jiu told Chi Kwok Sing Sang he personally witness the murders. Lin Sing Bik then accused Fung Sie Leung of being an accomplice of Siu Sap Yat Long. Left with no options Chi Kwok Sin Sang was forced to lock Fung Sie Leung up, as they did not believe that Siu Sap Yat Long was innocent. Lin Sing Bik then vowed to kill Siu Sap Yat Long to avenge all of the deaths. Meanwhile at a distance Siu Yiu Hau the mastermind of all the crimes was playing chess with a group of educated men. He defeats them all and laughs thinking he is the best mastermind in the world. Siu Kong Chi then arrives to provide Siu Yiu Hau with an update on everything that had happened. Siu Yiu Hau reveals his plans of becoming an Emperor of China. He also reveals that he had underestimated Siu Sap Yat Long's abilities. Siu Yiu Hau then reveals his next move to attempt to find out the secret of Chor Lau Heung's treasure. Upon discovering that Fung Sie Leung had been locked up by Chi Kwok Sin Sing, Fai Ping and Siu Sap Yee Long all set out to rescue her. Chi Kwok Sin Sang suspected what would happened and asked Yeung Hoi Tai's help in preventing them from doing so. Yeung Hoi Tai loved Fung Sie Leung, so he offered to help. In the evening Fai Ping and Co Fei were prevented from rescuing Fung Sie Leung by Yeung Hoi Tai. But as they battled, Siu Sap Yee Long was able to rescue Fung Sie Leung. But this was part of Chi Kwok Sin Sang's plans of locating the whereabouts of Siu Sap Yat Long. He sent people to follow Fung Sie Leung without her and Siu Sap Yee Long suspecting. Needing to locate Siu Sap Yat Long, Fung Sie Leung visited Fai Ping for his assistance. Fai Ping had many men who could find out where Siu Sap Yat Long was. Meanwhile Siu Kung Chi also sent her men to follow Fung Sie Leung. Meanwhile Siu Sap Yat Long was escorting Sum Bik Kwan away in a coffin so that no one could locate him. He was heading back towards his old village which no one except for Fung Sie Leung would know the where abouts. His journey was made difficult by Sum Bik Kwan who refused to believe that Siu Sap Yat Long was a good person. One day Siu Sap Yat Long met a Mythical Doctor who could heal the dead back to life. Siu Sap Yat Long requested his help in healing Sum Bik Kwan who was still not cured of the poison suffered earlier. At once the Mythical Doctor agreed but he wanted challenged Siu Sap Yat Long to a duel. If Siu Sap Yat Long lost, then his life would belong to the Mythical Doctor. Siu Sap Yat Long agreed to the conditions. During the battle Sum Bik Kwan attempted to strike Siu Sap Yat Long causing him to loose. At once Siu Sap Yat Long accepted the defeat looking angrily across at Sum Bik Kwan, but requested the Mythical Doctor to give him eight more years before he would give up his life to him. Siu Sap Yat Long still had to escort Sum Bik Kwan to safety and accomplish other things so the Mythical Doctor agreed and disappeared. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung attempted to shake off Siu Sap Yee Long so she could continue on her way. With the help of Fai Ping they were able to put on a show where Siu Sap Yee Long was accused of murder, and was forced to leave the territory of the 13 Black Mountain Clan. Fai Ping then pretended to capture Fung Sie Leung in an attempt to throw off Chi Kwok Sin Sang, Lin Sing Bik and Yeung Hoi Tai. But Chi Kwok Sin Sang anticipated this move and sent men to the 13 Black Mountain Robber Clan to pick up her tracks. This plan worked wonderfully they were able to follow Fung Sie Leung as she led them right to where Siu Sap Yat Long was hiding. Siu Sap Yat Long taught two children how to play his musical tune, which Fung Sie Leung recognised and followed the sound. One by one the young boys told her of the location of where the person whom had taught them where hiding. Finally Fung Siu Leung was led to a small hut on the outskirts of town. Upon arriving Siu Sap Yat Long went to greet her. At once Fung Sie Leung questioned Siu Sap Yat Long over the murders back at Sum kA Bo. Siu Sap Yat Long informed Fung Sie Leung that he indeed did kill all those people except for Old Lady Siu. Fung Sie Leung then asked why and Siu Sap Yat Long informed her that all the Sum brothers were working for Siu Kung Chi. As they where talking Lin Sing Bik, Yeung Hoi Tai, Chi Kwok Sin Sang and the others arrive. At once Sam Dong kA arrived and challenged Siu Sap Yat Long to a duel. They fought but Siu Sap Yat Long's kung fu was too good. Finally Lin Sing Bik too came into the battle to help Sam Dong kA As they were fighting Sum Bik Kwan picked up a sword and charged at Siu Sap Yat Long who was not expecting the blow. The strike from Sum Bik Kwan went right through Siu Sap Yat Long's body and he instantly died. Upon seeing that Siu Sap Yat Long had been slained Fung Sie Leung rushed in and grabbed the sword to protect his body. She then fainted and was captured by Chi Kwok Sin Sang. Fung Sie Leung was then locked up for further questioning. Many believed that she was Siu Sap Yat Long's accomplice. In the evening Yeung Hoi Tai attempted to persuade her that Siu Sap Yat Long was an evil man whom deserved to die. But Fung Sie Leung refused to listen to their pleas including that of Chi Kwok Sin Sang. Fung Sie Leung was going to face criminal charges by her superior Minister Si. However Fung Sie Leung was clever enough to escape the charges and was set free on the condition that she would expose Siu Sap Yat Long's helpers. She knew Siu Sap Yat Long had no helpers but that was the only way she could go on investigating the case. Meanwhile people like Lin Sing Bik began suspecting that Sum Bik Kwan had an affair with Siu Sap Yat Long. Meanwhile Siu Sap Yee Long discovered that Siu Sap Yat Long had been killed so he attempted to steal the body from the Inspectors and bury it somewhere. He was unsuccessful and during a battle with the Investigators a blaze was lit which destroyed the place. Everyone thought Siu Sap Yat Long's body had been burnt along with the hut. But unknown to them the Mythical Doctor took the body and healed him alive. When Siu Kung Chi informed Siu Yiu Hau that Siu Sap Yat Long had died he laughed. Siu Yiu Hau suspected that Siu Sap Yat Long was not yet dead, because he needed Siu Sap Yat Long to uncover the secret of Chor Lau Heung's treasure so that he could capture the throne of China. Also with the death of Siu Sap Yat Long, Siu Yiu Hau thought that there would be nobody that could match him in intelligence and kung fu. Finally he laughed as he was certain that Siu Sap Yat Long was dead. Upon returning home Sum Bik Kwan began to hear the servants talk behind her back, about her having an affair with Siu Sap Yat Long. Sum Bik Kwan was not worried about the rumors as long as her husband believed that she was innocent, so she asked him. Lin Sing Bik was suspicious but told Sum Bik Kwan that he believed her. That was enough for Sum Bik Kwan as she believed that her husband loved and trusted her. Upon hearing of Siu Sap Yat Long's fate, Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung became relaxed as did everyone else. They too thought that they would not be questioned by Fung Sie Leung either so they went to visit the burial of Old Lady Sum to pay their respects and wash their hands of the crime. Unknown to them Fung Sie Leung also visited Lin Sing Bik's house with Yeung Hoi Tai to pay her respects. Upon seeing Fung Sie Leung, Master Jiu, Master Ma, and Master Fung nearly became white with fear. Lin Sing Bik too did not like the look of Sung Sie Leung at his house so he questioned Yeung Hoi Tai how Fung Sie Leung came to escape execution. Yeung Hoi Tai also told Lin Sing Bik and Sum Bik Kwan that Siu Sap Yat Long's body had been burnt. In the evening Sum Bik Kwan heard the sound of music played between two leaves. For a moment she thought it was Siu Sap Yat Long and rushed over to the source only to find out that it was Fung Sie Leung. She laughed when she realised that Sum Bik Kwan had rushed over. At once Fung Sie Leung told Sum Bik Kwan of Siu Sap Yat Long's innocence by reminding her that Siu Sap Yat Long was a kind person and treated her well. Sum Bik Kwan refused to believe Fung Sie Leung as she saw the murders with her own eyes. Fung Sie Leung then informed that Sum Bik Kwan that she should not believe everything she sees with her eyes as all is not what it seems. Still Sum Bik Kwan refused to believe Fung Sie Leung. At once Fung Sie Leung laid down a bet with Sum Bik Kwan that she could prove that Siu Sap Yat Long was innocent. In the evening Fung Sie Leung tricked Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung with a fake letter from Siu Kung Chi. Sum Bik Kwan hid behind the family ancestral burial and listened in as the three men told the truth to Fung Sie Leung. They admitted that Sum Bik Kwan's four brothers where Siu Kung Chi's helpers, that they killed Old Lady Sum, also Master Sie Hung and that they planted everything on Siu Sap Yat Long. The men were over confident that they would be able to kill Fung Sie Leung. At once they battled and seriously injured Fung Sie Leung. Luckily for her a masked arrived and saved her. When she came to she realised she had been saved by Siu Sap Yee Long. At once she was disappointed as she thought it was Siu Sap Yat Long instead. When she recovered, Siu Sap Yee Long told her that he had not lost track of Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung. Upon hearing this Fung Sie Leung agreed to follow Siu Sap Yee Long to a hotel where all three men were staying. Meanwhile Sum Bik Kwan went to inform Lin Sing Bik everything that she had heard. But Lin Sing Bik did nothing about it despite her pleas. Soon the rest of the "Six Gentlemen Heroes" arrived to pay their respects. Everyone was very pleasant towards Lin Sing Bik and Sum Bik Kwan except for Lau Sik Ching. At once he wanted Lin Sing Bik to sell Sum kA Bo's business to him. Everyone was angry at Lau Sik Ching for bringing up the subject and being disrespectful. Lau Sik Ching even went further to accuse Sum Bik Kwan of being unfaithful infront of everyone after both Lin Sing Bik and Sum Bik Kwan refused to sell Sum kA Bo's business. Also Sum Bik Kwan defended Siu Sap Yat Long after she had found out the truth, and Lau Sik Ching was being disrespectful to everyone. Soon the argument got out of hand so that Lin Sing Bik was forced to ask Sum Bik Kwan to leave the room after she fainted. This added more fuel to Lau Sik Ching who said more harsh words which angered Lin Sing Bik. After that event the Doctor told Lin Sing Bik that Sum Bik Kwan was pregnant. This raise more suspicion in Lin Sing Bik, who was uncertain that the child was his after Lau Sik Ching had made those nasty comments earlier in the day. Later Lin Sing Bik, went through the accounts of his business and realised that he was bankrupted. He was loosing money by the day. Instead of asking for his wife's help, he hid that fact from her. Lin Sing Bik was also becoming increasingly angry when he heard Sum Bik Kwan state that she regretted wrongly killing Siu Sap Yat Long. The last straw for Lin Sing Bik was when he overheard Sum Bik Kwan praying for Siu Sap Yat Long in the evening and explaining that she regretted killing him. He also overheard how Siu Sap Yat Long had treated her in those last few months and became increasingly jealous. Lin Sing Bik then pretended to be sick and not see Sum Bik Kwan after that event. During that time he also left the house to undertake some business of his own. One night he journeyed out to meet with Lau Sik Ching and overheard people spreading rumors about his wife being unfaithful. This angered him, but as he met up with Lau Sik Ching he was further angered. Lau Sik Ching continued to spread vicious rumors and try to put Lin Sing Bik down. At last Lin Sing Bik had enough of Lau Sik Ching spreading vicious rumors and putting him down that he fought with Lau Sik Ching and easily won. Meanwhile Sum Bik Kwan found out that her husband had lied to her about being sick and about sending men to locate Fung Sie Leung. Later that evening Lin Sing Bik ran into a sage whom informed him that he would have no children and that his business would fail. Lin Sing Bik marveled at this as he thought that it meant that Sum Bik Kwan's child must not be his. So he got very suspicious. Upon hearing this news he got very drunk. When he returned to the house he finally accused Sum Bik Kwan of being unfaithful despite her protests. He then went on to inform Sum Bik Kwan that his business is a failure and that they were in debt. Upon hearing this Sum Bik Kwan wanted to help but Lin Sing Bik would have none of it. Lin Sing Bik then accused Sum Bik Kwan of having Siu Sap Yat Long's child also. Upon hearing this Sum Bik Kwan had enough and left the room. Later Fung Sie Leung ran into Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung. Upon seeing each other they fought and Siu Sap Yee Long arrived to save her. He battled with the three men, but had help from an unknown person. Fung Sie Leung realised that and suspected that Siu Sap Yat Long was not yet dead, so she asked him for the truth. Siu Sap Yee Long then informed her of the truth that Siu Sap Yat Long was not dead, and that he thought Fung Sie Leung was ruining his plans of finding the mastermind. Upon hearing this Fung Sie Leung was bitterly disappointed that Siu Sap Yat Long thought of her in that way, as just a burden. Meanwhile Siu Sap Yat Long followed the three men to Siu Kung Chi's boat to uncover the mastermind. Luckily for Siu Sap Yat Long, Siu Yiu Hau was actually on the boat. But Siu Yiu Hau had anticipated this move. He wanted to let Siu Sap Yat Long know that his kung fu was unbeatable and that Siu Sap Yat Long could not beat him. Siu Yiu Hau informed Siu Sap Yat Long that he wanted to known where Chor Lau Heung's treasure was located. Siu Sap Yat Long refused to tell him so they fought. Siu Yiu Hau won in five moves and left Siu Sap Yat Long by himself. Upon being beaten so easily Siu Sap Yat Long became afraid. He was paralyzed, sitting by himself for a long while before taking up a cup of drink and continued drinking until he got drunk. Before leaving Siu Yiu Hau informed Siu Sap Yat Long that he would wait to find out the secret to Chor Lau Heung's treasure and that if he didn't talk he would make him talk. He left laughing stating that he had set plans in place to ensure that Siu Sap Yat Long will reveal the location of the treasure. In a drunken state Siu Sap Yat Long remembered how his old man killed his entire family to keep the secret safe including his wife and youngest son Siu Yat Sik. In a rage Siu Yat Sik was thrown over the edge of the mountain by old man Siu. Only Siu Sap Yat Long was left alive as old man Siu did not want them to kill each other over the treasure. The old man Siu also informed him that he must not be involved in relationships on any kind and become cold hearted until it became time to pass the treasure back to Chor Lau Heung's heirs. Meanwhile Siu Yiu Hau laughed having won the first mental battle. Siu Yiu Hau then expected Siu Sap Yat Long having been defeated to become a weakling a search for a true love, either in Fung Sie Leung or Sum Bik Kwan. If he fell inlove with each of the two girls Siu Yiu Hau thought he would be able capture them and force Siu Sap Yat Long to reveal the treasure. Having been defeated Siu Sap Yat Long first went in search of Lin Sing Bik to tell him the truth. Upon seeing Siu Sap Yat Long, Lin Sing Bik was angry and drew his sword to challenge him to a duel. But Siu Sap Yat Long refused and stated that him and Sum Bik Kwan did not have an affair. Lin Sing Bik seemed not to believe him and before he left. Later Fung Sie Leung returned to find Sum Bik Kwan. In the evening they talk and Sum Bik Kwan revealed to Fung Sie Leung that she regretted killing Siu Sap Yat Long. It was then Sum Bik Kwan suspected that Sum Bik Kwan had feelings for Siu Sap Yat Long. Fung Sie Leung then informed Sum Bik Kwan that Siu Sap Yat Long was not yet dead. At once Sum Bik Kwan realised how this was possible, as she remembered the Mythical Doctor. Fung Sie Leung then realised that SIu Sap Yat Long had planned his own death all along to uncover the mastermind. When Lin Sing Bik arrived back at the house she was so happy that she told him that Siu Sap Yat Long was still alive. Lin Sing Bik at once was still angry and told her not to speak of the matter any further and said he was tired. Later Yeung Tai Hoi and Chu Bak Siu round up the rest of the "Six Gentlemen Heroes", including Lai Kong, and Tu Ching Hung. They wanted Lin Sing Bik and Lau Sik Ching to make peace with each other and so that they can all become friends again. Lin Sing Bik thanked Yeung Hoi Tai for organising the gathering and agreed to make peace with Lau Sik Ching. However when Lau Sik Ching arrived his harsh words began to flare up another argument and refused to take up a drink as a peace offering. Suddenly General Tu Ching Hung interrupted the argument and requested the rest of the "Six Gentlemen Heroes" to help him investigate the identity of the man behind all of the masterminds and the clan Tin Jong. Yeung Hoi Tai became interested in Tu Ching Hung's conversations along with Lin Sing Bik. But at once Lai Kong flared up and refused to help along with Lau Sik Ching. Tu Ching Hung and Lau Sik Ching then started another argument and Lau Sik Ching left. Lai Kong then jumped in and spoke angrily at the rest of the men before leaving stating that he had things to do and left. Before leaving he took one look at Tu Ching Hung whom stated he would continue to investigate Siu Kung Chi and the Tin Jung clan. In the morning he stopped at a house to feed and water his horse. Unknown to him he had stumbled across Siu Kung Chi. Later Lai Kong arrived to help Siu Kung Chi deal with and kill Tu Ching Hung. Before his death it was revealed that Tu Ching Hung was gay and that was the one secret that would make him unworthy of the title of "Gentlemen". Lai Kong then revealed that he was part of the Tin Jung clan and could not allow him to investigate any further. Lau Sik Ching also came across the house and saw that Lai Kong had helped Siu Kung Chi kill Tu Ching Hung. Upon witnessing this act Lau Sik Ching rushed back to warn Yeung Hoi Tai and the others, but suffered a heavy injury. Along the way he stumbles into Lin Sing Bik who was passing by. Immediately Lau Sik Ching cried for help and Ling Sing Bik rushed over to aid him. Upon hearing the news Lin Sing Bik stabbed Lau Sik Ching to death and revealed that he too was part of the Tin Jung Clan. He was on his way to greet Siu Yiu Hau and get his orders. At once Siu Yiu Hau ordered Lin Sing Bik to get a divorce Sum Bik Kwan, to force Siu Sap Yat Long out of hiding. Lin Sing Bik then made a statement that he was not worried safety at all. He treated Sum Bik Kwan as a chess piece only. So he reluctantly agreed to Siu Yiu Hau's orders. As he left Siu Yiu Hau laughed as he treated Lin Sing Bik as a dog and chess piece only. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung ran into Yeung Hoi Tai. She was now investigating the murders of Lau Sik Ching and Tu Ching Hung. So when Yeung Hoi Tai invited her to his house she agreed to lodge with him. Yeung Hoi Tai agreed to help Fung Sie Leung with her case. Fung Sie Leung then informed Chi Kwok Sing Sang the information about Tin Jung Clan. But no one believe that all the previous murders were linked to the Tin Jung Clan. They still suspected Siu Sap Yat Long. Meanwhile the monk of the "Six Gentlemen Heroes" Chu Bak Siu was tricked into helping Siu Yiu Sau into cross breeding deadly yellow lotuses. Siu Yiu Hau said that these flies were being developed to help people, where infact he wanted to use these flies to gain the throne. Siu Yiu Hau knew that these yellow lotuses. would cause people to starve making China ripe for him to invade. Chu Bak Siu trusted Siu Yiu Hau so began to put all his efforts into developing the lotuses. for him. Meanwhile Lin Sing Bik delayed divorcing Sum Bik Kwan so Siu Yiu Hau sent his mate Lai Kong to watch over him. Lai Kong stayed at the house to pressure and threatened him to carry out the act. When Siu Yiu Hau heard that Lin Sing Bik had not yet divorced Sum Bik Kwan, he was not worried. Siu Yiu Hau showed great patience as he knew things would take it's course. Siu Kung Chi then informed Siu Yiu Hau that she had killed the Mythical Doctor as punishment for healing Siu Sap Yat Long, but this did not please Siu Yiu Hau at all. He was angry that Siu Kung Chi took her own initiative without his direct orders. Later Siu Sap Yat Long shows himself to Siu Sap Yee Long and tells him to leave including Fung Sie Leung who had followed them. Siu Sap Yat Long told them that he must deal with the Tin Jung Clann by himself and told the others not to get in his way or he would kill them. Fung Sie Leung refused to leave so Siu Sap Yat Long pulled out his sword and placed it against her throat, but did strike her and left in a hurry. Fung Sie Leung rushed after him to persuade him, but Siu Sap Yat Long kept on walking. After that event Fung Sie Leung worked out that Siu Sap Yat Long must have discovered the mastermind behind the Tin Jung Clan and had infact lost the battled. Eager to locate Siu Sap Yat Long and help him deal with Tin Jung, Fung Sie Leung once again sought the aid of Fai Ping. Eager to practice kung fu to defeat Siu Yiu Hau, made Siu Sap Yat Long mad with rage one day and he ended up killing many of Fai Ping's men who were sent to locate him. Despite this Fai Ping was not worried and treated Siu Sap Yat Long as a friend as he was Fung Sie Leung's friend. His men however were not so calm as they had lost some close friends. Despite this Fai Ping did not care as he loved Fung Sie Leung very much. One day Fung Sie Leung thought that Siu Sap Yat Long had deserted her once more so she ran out to look for him. She then caught the sound of Siu Sap Yat Long's familiar music that he played between two leaves. She rushed up to prevent him from leaving. She revealed to Siu Sap Yat Long that she knew much about why the Tin Jung Clan were after him, it was over Chor Lau Heung's treasure. Siu Sap Yat Long then revealed that he dueled with the leader of Tin Jung and that the identity of the man was from the West. Fung Sie Leung then tried to persuade Siu Sap Yat Long to return with her to Chi Kwok Sin Sang. At once Siu Sap Yat Long refused so Fung Sie Leung would not allow him to leave and laid down a bet. If Siu Sap Yat Long lost the bet he would have to go along with Fung Sie Leung's plans. At once he agreed, so Fung Sie Leung revealed the bet was that Siu Sap Yat Long was not allowed to save her life and she stabbed herself with a knife. Siu Sap Yat Long afraid of losing a close friend rushed Fung Sie Leung's body to find the Mythical Doctor and discovered that he was dead. But luckily he had left behind his medical book so Siu Sap Yat Long was able to save Fung Sie Leung. Upon recovering Fung Sie Leung heard Siu Sap Yat Long promise that he would return with her to see Chi Kwok Sin Sang. The following days Siu Sap Yat Long treated Fung Sie Leung very well. Fung Sie Leung then asked Siu Sap Yat Long whether he liked the lifestyle they were currently living. Siu Sap Yat Long said that once he had done what he was instructed to do that he would disappear from the kung fu world and live as they are now. Just two people living together in the outskirts of town. Later Lai Kong tried to rape Sum Bik Kwan to force Lin Sing Bik to hurry up the divorce proceedings. Sum Bik Kwan was clever however and was able to evade Lai Kong's moves. During the struggle Sum Bik Kwan killed Lai Kong with her Sum family needle kung fu by bouncing it off a wall and thus striking Lai Kong in the back and catching him off guard. Upon killing Lai Kong, Sum Bik Kwan informed Lin Sing Bik of what had happened. Lin Sing Bik then looked at the body, as he was doing so Siu Kung Chi arrived to inform him that Lai Kong's old man was arriving to deal with him. So Siu Kung Chi left him with only one option and that was to divorce Sum Bik Kwan. Siu Kung Chi told Lin Sing Bik not to worry about the safety of his wife as she was certain that Siu Sap Yat Long would come and rescue her. So Lin Sing Bik went along with the plans. Lin Sing Bik allowed Lai Kong's old man of accusing Sum Bik Kwan of being a slut and wanted to avenge the death of his son. Lin Sing Bik then informed Lai Kong's old man that he would not stand in his way. Later that evening Lin Sing Bik informed Sum Bik Kwan that he would divorce her until the truth was uncovered and he did not want to offend his friends. Sum Bik Kwan agreed to get a divorce in order to save Lin Sing Bik's face. Soon news reached Siu Sap Yat Long. Upon hearing what had happened Siu Sap Yat Long immediately wanted to set out to rescue her. But Fung Sie Leung would not allow it to happen. So she poisoned herself and Siu Sap Yat Long so that they could die together. She knew that Siu Sap Yat Long would go regardless and perhaps die so she thought that this method was best. Siu Sap Yat Long became angry and began to use his inner strength to heal himself. Once he had enough strength he rushed out to save Sum Bik Kwan. Unknown to them Siu Kung Chi ordered Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung to kill Siu Sap Yat Long. In the morning Sum Bik Kwan left Lin Sing Bik's house to journey out into the world alone. She was greeted by Lai Kong's old man whom surrounded her with many men. Yeung Hoi Tai tried to convince Lin Sing Bik to save his wife but he refused. Yeung Hoi Tai then made a move to save Sum Bik Kwan but Lin Sing Bik prevented him from doing so. At the same time Siu Sap Yat Long rushed over in time to prevent Sum Bik Kwan from being murdered. At first Sum Bik Kwan was angry and did not want to go along with Siu Sap Yat Long. She changed her mind after seeing that Siu Sap Yat Long was injured and hurt and still came along to rescue her. From this fact alone Sum Bik Kwan knew she could not turn Siu Sap Yat Long away. Siu Sap Yat Long then fought with Lai Kong's old man and killed everyone. After that feat he was seriously injured and was still being perused by Master Jiu, Master Ma and Master Fung. They tried to pass through the mountain to evade the three men. With Sum Bik Kwan's help Siu Sap Yat Long was able to deceive first Master Fung and kill him unexpectedly and then caught Master Ma by surprised. Master Jiu however was a coward and did not want to confront Siu Sap Yat Long so he set fire to the mountain. Siu Sap Yat Long and Sum Bik Kwan tried to out run the bush fire without much luck. Siu Sap Yat Long passed out due to the fumes and then Sum Bik Kwan passed out ontop of him. The bush fire burnt out the entire mountain. Meanwhile Fung Sie Leung despite being injured rushed to the battle scene to find Siu Sap Yat Long. She then fainted amongst the bodies and was taken to safety by Yeung Hoi Tai. When she came to she discovered that Yeung Hoi Tai had been by her side for many days and that they were at Lin Sing Bik's house once more. At once Fung Sie Leung asked Yeung Hoi Tai about Siu Sap Yat Long so they had an argument. Yeung Hoi Tai disliked Siu Sap Yat Long and was always trying to persuade Fung Sie Leung that he was an evil man. At once Fung Sie Leung rushed out to ask Lin Sing Bik whether he knew where Sum Bik Kwan was. Lin Sing Bik replied by stating that he did not know and that he and Sum Bik Kwan was no longer his wife. As they were talking a servant returned to inform them that a fire had raged through the mountain. Eager to rescue Siu Sap Yat Long, Fung Sie Leung went up to the mountain by Yeung Hoi Tai striked her from behind to prevent her from going into the mountain where the fire was raging. In the evening Lin Sing Bik told Yeung Hoi Tai that Fung Sie Leung would never love him. Yeung Hoi Tai and sighed and told Lin Sing Bik that he was right because he knew Fung Sie Leung loved Siu Sap Yat Long only. Despite this Yeung Hoi Tai stated that he still loved Fung Sie Leung despite this. Yeung Hoi Tai then asked Lin Sing Bik whether he regretted divorcing Sum Bik Kwan. He replied firmly that He did not. Meanwhile Siu Sap Yat Long woke to what seemed like a dream. He was married to Sum Bik Kwan and they had a child. But He for some reason did not know kung fu. He and Sum Bik Kwan spent the many days that passed as a happy family. Siu Sap Yat Long and Sum Bik Kwan where like a perfect couple. However He would still have nightmares of the past. Soon He became a little bit suspicious about his current life. One night Siu Yiu Hau's plans were uncovered when Sum Bik Kwan refused to sleep with him. From this Siu Sap Yat Long realised they were being drugged and loosing thier memory. Upon this discovery they confronted Siu Yiu Hau, who sat back and laughed that his plans had been foiled. Siu Yiu Hau would not let the leave however and kept them at his house. Siu Sap Yat Long could not discover how to leave the Siu Yiu Hau's house because it was at the top of the mountain. So they remained at the mountain. Siu Sap Yat Long tried to practice kung fu so He could beat Siu Yiu Hau. At same time Siu Yiu Hau thought that one day Sum Bik Kwan and Siu Sap Yat Long would fall inlove and thus He could capture her to force Siu Sap Yat Long to reveal the secret to Chor Lau Heung's treasure. Siu Yiu Hau thought he had the patience to wait that long. [PAGE 1] [PAGE 2] [SERIES INDEX] [HOME] |
