Kyle and Amanda refuse
to reconcile with each other. Their relationship is further strained by
Kyle's refusal to stop drinking and using drugs. After another argument,
Amanda proceeds to pack up all of Kyle's belongings. Kyle, in need of a
place to stay, decides to live with Ryan for the time being.
Michael continues his attempts to raise $100,000. When he cannot get the money, he steals it from Peter's Children's Fund charity. Everything falls apart for Michael when he arrives at Reed's house the next day. He realizes that he was conned and that the Ferrari was actually a stolen car.
Megan continues her mission to find "Mr. Right" for Lexi by placing an ad for her in the personals. Sworn to secrecy, Megan cannot tell Ryan about her actions. Megan becomes taken aback when a computer program designed to narrow Lexi's candidates, lists Ryan as the most compatible bachelor for Lexi.
