What is a radio play?
A radio play is a lot like a movie without pictures. It's your fave. characters,
sound effects, and music you love; all available to you with a push of a button.
It is not a dub. That's because we aren't mutalating it. We are going by the
exact script of the videos, and where video fails us, we add something like -
Don't pick up that cat! It's eyes are glowing!
What is yours about?
This is radio play remake of the SailorStars series. Stars is probably one of
the most popular series of Sailor Moon, and it also has the most memorable
characters. It's very emotional and dramatic, which gives us a lot of diversity
to put into the play.
How does this work?
The voice actor will record their part onto a wav file and then put it onto
the PSVP Homepage account in a zip file. I will take the wav files and mix
them with music and sound effects. Once I've done that I will make one big file
and record it onto a tape and Stephen will record it to Mini-Disc.
Mini-Disc?
Mini-Discs are the future of technology, far better than CDs. Unfortunetly, I
don't have a player. :P Stephen does. For those of you who have one you can
have him record a copy for you and send it to you that way. It will probably be
really expensive cuz he lives in Australia.
A MD is about 1/3 the size of a CD, the player is extremely expensive, and
they are very popular in Japan and Australia. Which means North America will
have to wait about 4 years before we see advertisements for them.
(Actually that's not quite true. I've seen them all over
the place in the San Fransisco Bay Area ^^)
What about the tapes, how do I get one?
I am not currently taking orders for the tapes, but when I am I will have a
page set up where you send a check or money order and then I will buy the tape
and record the episode. I will then send you the tape.
But how much?
Well, depending on how many episodes are on each tape, the cost of tapes, and
shipping, it will probably be under 10 dollars. But depending on what happens,
if could be a lot less or a little more.
Why the change of URL?
Alright... on the 'net I almost never am furious over things. The only
two things that I absolutely cannot stand are plagiarism and hackers. Hackers.
That would be our problem. I would not be as pissed off as I am now if this
person actually confessed what he/she did. I know it's the same person who is
against all of this fandub business, but why are they so negative? If you leave
us alone, we leave you alone. Enough said.
