What if you found a portal to a parallel universe?

What if you could slide to a thousand different worlds?

Where its the same year, and you`re the same person...but, everything else is different?

And, what if you can`t find your way home?

That is the phrase Quinn Mallory said at the beginning titles of Sliders the television sci-fi show which had four people sliding to parallel Earths, hoping to find their way home. The show ran for three seasons on the Fox Network and now a fourth season is being screened on the Sci-Fi Channel, and a fifth begins next year. However, two of the original Sliders did not return. John Rhys-Davies left the show near the end of the third season and was replaced by Kari Wuhner, and Sabrina Lloyd left before the filming began on Season 4, and was replaced with Charlie O`Connell.

To those fans who loved the original cast and format of the show I offer you stories set before the changes began in the 3^rd season.

What if the Sliders never visited pulsar world in Exodus?

What if Arturo never died?

The stories are set after the world shown in Last Of Eden, and still follows the adventures of the original four Sliders: Quinn Mallory, Wade Welles, Rembrandt Brown, & Professor Maximilian Arturo. And, for those of you who are fans of the new characters, the Sliders will meet up with them from time to time, so they won`t be left out altogether.

So, are you willing to take the alternate slide?

Alternate Slide 1) The Boundary Of Friendship: The Sliders friendships are explored when Rembrandt & Arturo both have their sights on the same woman, while Quinn & Wade begin to realise that their friendship isn`t as simple as they once thought.

Alternate Slide 1b) These Arms Of Mine : Two of the Sliders contemplate recent events.

Other Stories:

A Time To Heal: Quinn is visiting the grave of a loved one when he himself gets a visit from an old friend.

Hopes And Dreams: While on Angel World, two of the Sliders find time to contemplate the amazing events that happened to Rembrandt on the last world.

Baby Talk: In the middle of the night Quinn attempts to get his son to sleep by telling him the story of The Four Sliders And Their Quest To Go Home.

A Slider`s Story: The same as above only with a dream sequence added on at the beginning of the story.

Birthday Wishes: With the changes made to the group of Sliders, Quinn doesn`t feel like celebrating his 25th birthday, and his mind drifts back to a happier time before everything went wrong.
