Rutger Hauer
2000

Latest News

March 27, 2000
Due to a great deal of time on my hands and dissatisfaction with the state of Rutger Hauer 2000, I have completely re-done it.  I have rewritten every aspect herein and added a history of my Rutger site as well as a history of the RHML and other Mailing Lists.

"The 10th Kingdom" has aired already.  The entire mini-series is available to order at nbc.com.  Sadly, I wasn't able to see it as it was not piped in to Japan.  I did see the "Making of..." video and it really looks like great fun.

The Actor Poll is over.  Alan Rickman had an overwhelming win after being neck and neck with Jeff Bridges for a long time.  I will post the percentages and number of votes soon.  Look for more polls in the future.  Stay tuned!

After a long stagnancy on my part, Rutger Hauer 2000 is finally being updated. Please excuse my neglect. First off, Rutger's Official Site (www.rutgerhauer.com) is a wonderful success! Rutger has close friends running the site and personally oversees and sanctions the content within it. Furthermore there are personal newsletters to the Internet community written by Rutger himself!  Multimedia expansion is slated for the future and the filmography is the most up to date and most complete on the
Net! Do go and visit and be sure to sign his guestbook...mention that you came from my page if you could. :)

The big news is that Rutger is starring in "The 10th Kingdom," a  $40-million blockbuster mini-series. Rutger stars as the frightening and murdering Huntsman. This is supposed to be a spectacular production weaving the lives of everyday people in with fairy tale friends and villians a la Snow White and Cinderella.

I have abdicated again from the Rutger Hauer Mailing List and am no longer affiliated with it, other than my having created it.

I will be adding new photos and tidbits soon so bookmark Rutger Hauer 2000 now and check back often for the new stuff.

Rutger has recently been voted "Actor of the Century" by his native homeland of Holland.  Congratulations go out to Rutger for this very prestigious honor!
