He plays Ice on TGIS and is a regular on Anna Karenina. He's done commericals for Close-up and
Pizza Hut. At the last MIFF last January, he was a scream in the suspenseful Sumigaw Ka
Hangga't Gusto Mo.

Upcoming Stuff:
In a movie called Honey, My Love, So Sweet.

How he started:
In a cheese-y role! "It was in a QBB Cheese Commercial when I was just 7 years old." Even back
then, Polo already was a cutie!

Now on his 4th year at the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR).

"R & B, particularly Keith Sweat."

INTERVIEW

Did you always want to join showbiz?
"When I was a lot younger, there were times I wanted to become an astonaut, a doctor, and
even a businessman. Pero gusto ko talagang maging artista."

How do you like showbiz?
"Marami kang nakikilala, enjoy. But hindi mo alam kung sino talaga ang kaibigan mo." (He
considers actress Sunshine Dizon his closest friend in the biz.)

What's the worst intriga ever said about you?
"On one TV show, someone made a comment that I was wearing lipstick. But actually, I was
wearing lip balm because my lips were chapping then."

What's your dream role?
"Gusto ko maging versatile. I'd like to experience all sorts of roles: comdey, drama, action."
(Talk about versatility -- in Sumigaw, his character was murdered).

Who are your crushes?
"Sunshine (his love interest on TGIS). Alam niya 'yun."

What did she say when she found out?
"She just laughed when I told her."

What makes her so special?
"I like everything about her. Mabait siya, madaling makatrabaho at maging ka-close. Last
Christmas, I gave her Winnie the Pooh slippers and a bottle of perfume."

Could your friendship turn to the real thing?
"Kung sakali, not now."

What would a girl need to do to catch your attention?
"She just has to be herself -- yun lang. Kasi mamaya, ang dating niya sa akin, papansin siya, di
ba? So, wala lang. Be yourself."
